The VL Pneumatic Router Base is a precision-engineered, modular platform designed specifically for use with pneumatic pencil grinders - most notably the Astro Pneumatic Tool 218 1/8" Die Grinder. Built for professional luthiers, this base delivers rock-solid stability, fine-tuned control, and clean routing across even the most delicate jobs.

Born on the bench, tested in the field. I built this for my own workflow - routing fret slots, cutting inlays, cleaning up bridges. Now, it's the only base I reach for. Every feature has a reason, and every upgrade is designed to grow with your shop.
